Craig Olsson

Professor Craig Olsson is a developmental psychologist with expertise in life-course epidemiology and human genetics.

 

He directs the Australian Temperament Project Generation 3 Study, one of Australia’s oldest running longitudinal studies of social-emotional development. Craig is Professor/Director of the Deakin Centre for Social and Early Emotional Development and holds a joint appointment in life-course epidemiology with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. He holds an Australian Research Council Principal Research Fellowship (Discovery Outstanding Researcher Award) and is National Convenor of the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) Longitudinal Studies Network. Craig has a particular interest in promoting understanding of the developmental years, from childhood to adulthood and into the next generation.
